Breeze
Swaying breeze,
I watch as you whisk the flowers
nonchalantly to dance.
How they sway against their wishes.
To be still and graceful
their aim in life.
But they are rendered to tatters,
their gowns in shred,
they lay a sorrowful sight
as a fallen ballerina.

SLIDESHOW - THE ART of JOYCE GALE
On a Clear Day
On a clear day is a vision of
God’s wonder in his creation
A vastness of values to
Contemplate in meditation.
The hand that painted the
Sky and created trees
The creatures roaming the land
And swimming in the seas.
The moon and stars that
Shine so bright
To lighten our darkness
In the night.
All these blessing come
From God above
To show us the measure
Of his love.

Thoughts
I cannot begin to think how my contribution matters,
but as you say "as small as a mustard seed"
I cannot begin to think how I can reform my fears,
but then the steps today, are greater than yesterday.
I cannot begin to think how I can change my outlook,
but as you say, "the clay of cracks are being smoothed away."
I cannot begin to think how beautiful life will be,
but as you say,"your return is assured through prayer"
I cannot begin to think how far I have come to the mountaintop,
but as you say "the top is just an aspect of the walk with God"
I cannot begin to dream that darkness is no more,
but as you say..............."You love me".

A New Day
My mind was as in a
plain, so barren.
The mountaintop seemed unreachable
shadows made it worse,
Not until I saw the light of
the moon as an angel.
Did I realise my perspective
of life was like a clouded glass.
In the morning, I saw
a plane fly high over the
mountaintop.
The shadows were no more.
For God had lifted my spirit
and lightened my heart,
so much so that I no longer saw
my life in a half-empty glass.

A Prayer
I thank you for this day
as the sun rises from darkness,
be my strength in hours of need
be near me as I pray.
Joy is in my heart
like the brightness of the sky,
your presence ever felt
be near never to depart.
You are always beside me
through day and night,
to give peace and harmony
you never fail my fervent plea.
I am but a weak soul
who wastes time needlessly,
you inspire me greatly
to reach mutual victory goals.
amen.

Summer Rain
Summer rain
that gently falls
to refresh foliage
which fervently sprawls
along the banks of
country sides,
among the woodlands
where creatures hide.
Transfixed green of
variant shades
inadvertently scattered
in mystical glades.
Nature spins
a wonderland
of intrigue, helped
by Gods creative hand.

Prayer In June
From the night sky
in the month of June,
A prayer came to me
under the waxing moon.
An aura of peace
grew and held me still,
with warmth of the air
there was no chill.
A vale of stars in
the galaxy
Sparkled through
silhouetted trees.
Thrilling spectacle
with tangible awe
I prayed for the earth
and it's natural law.
God chose us to
managed our space
to help along
the human race.
As the night passes
in the month of June
Let's pray bright stars stay
with the sun and the moon.

******************
Wonder
Twinkling heavenly flowers
lights forever warm.
Seeds planted in the universe
from a gigantic storm.
Flashing rainbows
surpassing earthbound ones.
Ribbons of eternity
in search of other suns.
Melodious is the sky
of abundant stars.
Imagination runs wild
around planets like mars.
Moon is always there
childish images of cheese.
That a man swings
a fantasy in the breeze.
Watching reflections in a pool
catching gold by night.
Reaching out for star dust
never to leave it from sight.
Mysteries of a million years
will be known at the last.
Travelling in mind without burden
as from earth be cast.
In dreams
eyes no longer closed.
Reflections of the soul
earthbound and reposed.

Silence
Stillness,
but for the whispering breeze
the Universe speaks
in the clouds that pass by.
A moments pause
help by unseen hands
to be aware
of a meeting so precious.
Silence,
broken only by a song bird
face to face
with the spirit of God.
