ANNERI DE WILDE
INTRODUCTION
I am blessed to live in St Lucia Estuary, a small town situated within a nature reserve, bordering the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, in South Africa. Our house overlooks Lake St Lucia and are surrounded by riverine forests. That provides me with ample opportunities to spend time with God in His creation.
Our garden is often visited by various buck, birds, snakes, squirrels, monkeys, water monitors, hippo, genets and the occasional leopard. The cutest little terrapin has chosen to make our pond its home.
Night after night, hippo (africa's most dangerous animal), gently graze outside my bedroom window and drink from our swimming pool.
And every time I see these 3000 - 4000 lbs giants up close I can only stand in awe of God's amazing creation.

And every time I see these 3000 - 4000 lbs giants up close I can only stand in awe of God's amazing creation.
The splendor of a mountain, the power and vastness of the ocean, the breathtaking beauty of a leopard, all declare the glory of God. The complexity of creation, the balance, order and the sheer size of the heavens and earth, all speaks of God's eternal power and divine nature.
Psalm 19:1-4
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

'IMPRESSIONS of CREATION, REFLECTIONS of GOD'
'Impressions of Creation, Reflections of God' is a a series of paintings I am currently working on that shows my revelations of God's character through nature.
I invite the viewer to reflect on God's glory, and may you rejoice in the knowledge that this all mighty Creator, loves you, His treasured possession.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
“You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.” (Revelation 4:11)
"For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse." (Romans 1:19-20)
And the most wonderful thing is that we don't just have to know about God, but through Jesus Christ can know Him as a person, who He is and how we can have a personal relationship with God, the all powerful creator of all things
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:13)
"I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death" (Philippians 3:10)
